Going to the races is always a great excuse to get dressed up, so who am I to break with tradition. I tailored my look around this beautiful fascinator which I bought years ago and have only had the chance to wear once. I bought it from a little boutique in Shellharbour Village called Harbour Rose and teamed it with a jacket from Jeans West, twisted top from Sheike, full length peplum skirt from Hipster, a black rubber necklace from Lovisa and shoe boots from Jasper Conran.
The race day was organised by the Lions Club who raised a great deal of money. My Mum and I were really lucky and for the first time ever we miraculously won on every race, yay!
Never one to miss out on a photo bombing opportunity, Rocky my cat made sure she was captured on film, what a cutie!
